                  It’s extremely important to ratchet the strap as tight as possible in a locked position to avoid losing your gear. We will NOT be responsible for the use, or misuse, of the racks and damaged vehicle or lost items from improper fitment and checking load before driving. Always use common sense when using these items for your vehicle and other vehicles safety behind you.

                  *The kits do NOT include any of the items shown mounted as examples, including: Traeger grill, recovery boards or Rotopax containers.


                  Key Features

                  • Side Mounting Plate Kit can be mounted to any position on the tire and includes a heavy-duty ratchet tire Strap.

                  • The mounting plate is designed to hold 1-2 Rotopax containers OR Recovery Boards OR anything else you want to mount to the large flat side. The front 2 tabs are designed to hold a highlight, Jack.

                  Sunny Southern California is our home where they patented, engineered, and manufactured in our facility. What are the dimensions of the tent?

                  The standard tent exterior dimensions are 40-51" wide by 84". When closed the tent will be 5" thick, the thinnest RTT on the market by a significant margin.

                  All Badass tents will weigh under 100lbs +/- assembled depending on the specific model you purchase.
                  Yes, Badass Tents provides a Three-year warranty from the date of purchase.

                  Our tents are better equipped to protect against wild animals, harsh winds, and rain than conventional tents.

                  You don't have to find a nice dry flat area to set up your Trustmade Tent. Trustmade tents also prevent the need to clean dirt, and other debris from the bottom of your tent nearly as much.

                  Not at the moment.
                  Most conventional roof racks will support Badass Tents if it is installed properly. However, you should check your manufacturer's roof rack system to ensure it will support the weight of your tent. If you do not have a factory-installed roof rack, we recommend aftermarket crossbars.
                  The tent will lift with 75-100 pounds on the roof, so bikes / skis / boats etc can be easily attached with our mounting systems. Additionally, depending on vehicle application, the tent doesn't need additional support for mounting, so it will act as its own rack.
